I'm so glad you're here
Reaching out for therapy is a brave decision. It is an honor to be a part of your life, to hear your story, to share in your healing and growth, and to explore together the ways that you can feel healthy and find joy in your life.
My passions are helping people ages 7 and up heal from traumatic events, as well as those living with all types of anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, grief and loss, mood disorders, and more. I also have a special interest in helping children and adults manage the stress and worry that can often come with medical diagnoses.
It is especially helpful (and delightful) to add creative methods to therapy sessions, whether it be with art, puppet play, writing, education, movement, etc. It is exciting to learn what people enjoy doing and incorporate it into therapy sessions. I value helping others accomplish their goals in a way that feels right for them.
I earned a Master’s Degree in Couples and Family Therapy from North Dakota State University in 2011 (Go Bison!) and have been providing mental health services in the Fargo-Moorhead area since 2008. I love spending time with my family, traveling and exploring new places, taking in all the nature I can, gardening, and walks with my husband, son, and pup!
Please reach out if you feel I may be a good fit. I would love to hear from you.
